Ravi Thuraisingham

Ravi Thuraisingham’s proven track record in energy goes back more than 30 years. He has built, developed, or conducted M&A for 7 competitive retail energy companies in the electricity sector, generating over $400 million in EBITDA for these companies.

Thuraisingham successfully restructured and spun off a division from a leading community solar developer, raised Series A funding, and improved the company’s EBITDA by 5 times. This energy leader created a tax equity fund with a utility, and while serving as the general partner, grew the fund from $50 million to over $200 million.

He leverages his background in nuclear engineering, safety analytics, and advanced nuclear reactor design to excel in energy trading, energy business development, distributed generation, asset financing, and ownership.

Gautam Chandra

Gautam Chandra has been a leading figure in the renewable energy industry for more than 30 years. He is a serial entrepreneur with multiple start-ups and exits including three to-public companies.

This industry titan oversaw corporate sustainability for a national energy utility company and was the principal dealmaker in $10B in transactions. He led the $6.4B sale of a national energy company, achieving the second-highest industry multiple ever paid.

Notably, Chandra built a $1B commercial solar portfolio, the largest in the industry at the time, and launched a private equity firm that delivered a 6x return to investors within three years.

Nat Eng

Nat Eng joins Apricus Generation as Chief Financial Officer with over 20 years of expertise in finance and accounting with a focus on renewable energy. Previously a partner at Novogradac & Company LLP, Nat advised leading developers, sponsors, and investors on tax equity structuring, GAAP advisory, and complex financing transactions. He began his career at PwC and holds a degree from Penn State University.

Steven Varady

Steve Varady joins as Senior Vice President, Project Finance. A recognized leader in renewable energy transaction structuring, Steve brings 16 years of experience advising clients on financial modeling, tax credit optimization, and capital strategy. He most recently served as Senior Vice President at Energetic Capital and spent over a decade at Novogradac & Company LLP as a Principal. He holds degrees in finance and accounting from California State University, Chico.
